DONAL ÓG CUSACK faces a long road to recovery, having ruptured his Achilles tendon on Sunday.
But the Cloyne man reckons he already has one step done.
“Another step complete…discharged from ssc santry 2day, thanks 2 the staff there especially Dr. Éanna Falvey and surgeon Johnny McKenna…” the Cork hurling skipper tweeted this afternoon.
After the game on Sunday, JBM admitted Cusack urged his young team-mates to see off the Premier regardless of the setback.
