ANDY REID WAS on target last night as Nottingham Forest drew 2-2 away to Millwall in the Championship.
The Dubliner, who made his return to the international scene in October after a five-year absence, beat Ireland team-mate David Forde with a 30-yard drive eight minutes before half-time to equalise for the visitors after Steve Morison’s opener.
As well as scoring his sixth goal of the season, the 31-year-old also set up Nathaniel Chalobah for Forest’s second.

Manager Billy Davies praised Reid’s man-of-the-match performance but wouldn’t be drawn on the possibility of him signing a new deal when his current one expires in the summer.
“Reid showed good captain’s leadership but that’s what he does,” Davies said in his post-match conference. “He is a very good player.”
He is a player that needed minutes in the game. This is a very difficult place to come and get points and it’s a very good hard-fought point,” he responded when asked about Reid’s contract situation before refusing to answer a question about whether other players would be looking at him.
On the game, he added: “Sloppy, very sloppy. We gifted them two goals. But we had excellent fighting spirit.”
“There was no doubt that we had several players who needed a game – Chalobah, Halford, Reid. I think sloppy is the disappointing factor but great spirit.”
