Former United misfit Anderson requires oxygen after being subbed before half time

In fairness, playing in La Paz is never easy.

WITH LA PAZ situated some 3,600 metres (12,000 feet) above sea level, playing football in Bolivia’s third largest city is never easy.

Spare a thought then for former Manchester United midfielder Anderson who lasted just 37 minutes of Internacional’s Copa Libertadores game with Club The Strongest last night before being subbed.

The 26-year old required oxygen before watching his side slump to a 3-1 defeat.

After missing a penalty on his debut last week, it hasn’t been a great start to his new career for the Brazilian.
