Anderson claims quotes about Man United exodus were made up

It was reported yesterday that the Brazilian believed a number of players wanted out.

BRAZILIAN MIDFIELDER ANDERSON has insisted that he never gave an interview which was widely reported yesterday.

The Manchester United outcast has joined Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season and was quoted as saying he believes several players are eager to follow him out the door of the Premier League club, who have struggled badly under David Moyes this season.

However, the 25-year-old has denied making such claims.

“I’m shocked and surprised with a supposed interview that never existed,” Anderson said in a message posted on Instagram.

“I never gave any interview, much less to say bad things about a club that I love, a club where I grow up and that gave me so much. Shame on you!!!!!!

“I’m like fan club love the club. Goodnight Manchester.”
