THE PREMIER LEAGUE season to date has been nothing if not eventful – and unpredictable.
It’s that time of the month again where we round up the best Premier League moments from recent weeks and there has been no shortage of standout incidents.
From Jürgen Klopp’s trademark celebration to Kammy’s tongue twister, here are our alternative power rankings for October….
Jose Mourinho found himself in the Director’s Box at Upton Park last weekend but he didn’t receive a hospitable welcome. As Andy Carroll scored West Ham’s winning goal, the Chelsea manager was pictured looking on rather glumly as everyone around him jumped for joy.
Things just go from bad to worse for poor Jose.
6. Bournemouth’s PA blunder
Absolute banter here as the PA system accidentally broadcasts a conversation upstairs. "Men against boys". "Fucking unbelievable".
Talk about adding insult to injury. Tottenham had just run riot at the Vitality Stadium to inflict a damaging defeat on lowly Bournemouth. Then, to make matters worse, the PA system delivered a damning appraisal of the performance to the ENTIRE stadium!
It later emerged a Tottenham fan was responsible for the expletive-ridden exchange but the incident compounded a miserable day for the Premier League new boys.
The Premier League All-Stars team is, well as the name suggests, an XI of former luminaries. This month, they were in Asia to take on the Hong Kong Legends and one man stole the show.
The likes of Robert Pires, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman were all involved but it was Paul Scholes who wowed the crowd with a trademark strike from all of 35 yards.
He’s still got it, you know.

4. Vardy the Galatico?

Jamie Vardy may be the Premier League’s top scorer but even this speculation seems a bit far-fetched. The Leicester striker has been the standout performer in the top-flight this term as he’s inspired the Foxes to an incredible start – but a move to Real Madrid, really?
Reports in Spain this week made the slightly ridiculous claim that the La Liga giants are interested in bringing Vardy to the Bernabeu.
Come to think of it actually, Vardy, Bale and Ronaldo has a ring to it.
3. The celebration we’ve been waiting for

Some managers like to keep their emotions in check. Jürgen Klopp is not one of them – and it didn’t take long for Liverpool fans to be treated to his eccentric goal celebrations.
It’s just a pity Sadio Mane went down the other end and cancelled out Christian Benteke’s bullet header.
2. Tongue-tied Kammy delivers another classic

If there’s one reason to tune into Soccer Saturday than it’s for Chris Kamara’s updates. By his own standards, it’s been an uneventful start to the season so this classic was long overdue.
In a way only he knows, Kammy managed to mangle ‘goal-line technology’ into ‘techline lentology’ when trying to describe an incident during West Ham’s win over Chelsea.
Never change, Kammy. Never change.
1. The ‘Hand of Henry’ – Part II
https://vine.co/v/e2OFtXVuh2V
The news of Brendan Rodgers’ abrupt departure from Liverpool took everybody by surprise – not least Thierry Henry.
The Frenchman’s reaction was absolutely priceless as he slapped his hand down on Jamie Carragher’s tight and then produced an absolutely fantastic facial expression.
We could watch it over and over again.
