TYRONE WERE CROWNED EirGrid All-Ireland U21 football champions last May but the race for glory begins again this week, as the Leinster championship cranks into gear.
Kerry, with Jack O’Connor in charge, are favourites with the bookies to build on All-Ireland minor glory in 2014 and 2015 by claiming U21 honours.
But the Kingdom will face stiff opposition from a number of contenders, including last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists and Munster champions Tipperary, who they meet in their opening fixture.
