The prize on offer in September but which two teams will be battling for it? Cathal Noonan/INPHO

Poll: Who do you think will be the 2016 All-Ireland hurling finalists?

Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Galway are all still in the race.

AND THEN THERE were four.

The All-Ireland senior hurling race for 2016 has been cut down to four contenders after yesterday’s action in Thurles.

We are left with the same semi-finalists as 12 months ago with Kilkenny, Waterford, Tipperary and Galway all still in the reckoning.

Kilkenny are the reigning champions who will be bidding on 7 August to reach the final for the third successive campaign while opponents Waterford last contested the decider back in 2008.

On 14 August, it is Tipperary aiming to reach a September showdown with their most recent appearance back in 2014 while Galway are bidding to return to the decider for the second successive year.

But we want to know who do you now think will advance to the final on 4 September?

Let us know.
