THE DRAW HAS been made this morning for Round 2 of the All-Ireland football qualifiers with Mayo and Donegal amongst the teams discovering their opening backdoor assignments.
After a second successive Connacht semi-final loss to Galway, Mayo will have home advantage when they meet Derry, victors over Waterford in Dungarvan on Saturday.
Donegal will entertain Longford as they seek to bounce back from an emphatic loss to Tyrone in yesterday’s Ulster semi-final.
Meath have been handed a home tie against Sligo after they exited teh Leinster stage at the hands of Kildare in Tullamore on Saturday night.
And finally Clare’s next tie will be away to Laois – winners over Wicklow on Saturday – in a match that is a repeat of last year’s qualifier tie between the counties.
Times and venues will be confirmed later for games that will likely take place on Saturday 1 July.
