The All Blacks have been back in camp and are making some great video diaries

They’re gearing up for a packed few months of rugby

A BUSY FEW months of rugby for the All Blacks kicked off over the past few days, as Steve Hansen’s side came together for their first three day mini camp in preparation for tests against Samoa, Australia and the Rugby Championship.

With 17 players unavailable due to to their continued Super Rugby commitments, the three day Auckland camp was a quick run through before they meet up again on Wednesday.

Luckily though, they brought their cameras along, making a couple of video diaries to show you what it’s like inside a test side’s camp.

On day 1, the squad spent their time posing for photos, being fitted for their gear and suits, as well as getting more adidas freebies than you can imagine.

It wasn’t all free kit and posing however, as by day 3 they were into the thick of it on the training pitch and the weight room.

Captain Richie McCaw spoke about the the difficulties of squeezing 41 All Blacks onto a team bus, welcoming in a few new faces, and firing out a warning that he’s ready to bounce back after a disappointing season with the Crusaders.

McCaw says he also plans to do a bit of flying over his few days off in between camps, but didn’t say whether or not it would be in an aeroplane, or with his cape.
