TO MARK HIS incredible career at the club, Manchester United will later this month unveil a statue of Alex Ferguson outside Old Trafford.

The Scot, who celebrates 26 years in charge of the Red Devils today, will be honoured with a monument that is to be created by renowned scupltor Philip Jackson and erected at the entrance to the stand also named after him.
