IRELAND INTERNATIONAL AIDEN McGeady has been put in the transfer list, according to reports in Russia.
The 27-year-old winger joined the Russian outfit from Celtic for £9.5 million in 2010 and has scoring 13 goals with 28 assists over the past three seasons.
McGeady has expressed his wish to return to British football when his contract expires in the summer but he could now get his wish even sooner than that.
Sport Express is reporting that the club has put him up for sale after criticism from manager Valery Karpin, who has allegedly questioned his attitude and fitness levels after their defeat to city rivals CSKA Moscow last Saturday.
McGeady, who scored his third international goal during an impressive performance against Latvia under new manager Martin O’Neill earlier this month, has been wanted by a number of Premier League clubs in the past and looks set to make a move when the January transfer window opens.

Could have 4 Irish in Everton’s starting 11 and bench if that happened, ironic considering how Roberto Martinez was borderline trying to sabotage McCarthy’s Irish call ups at Wigan.
Seems to be utterly brilliant or divests tingly poor. As an Everton fan I wouldn’t mind seeing him at Goodison though because he does have a touch of class at times
Everton are brutal he will fit in fine there, I was in that kip of a stadium Goodison last Saturday, I felt like I needed a hard hat an absolute dump, that place hasn’t seen a paint brush in 30 years!

Did Liverpool not win 5 trophies around 2001? They have since won the FA Cup, League Cup & the Champions League…..
Also in that time they have been runners up in the League a couple of times, runners up in the Champions League, FA Cup & League Cup.
And all of the above in a period when most people consider the club to be in the doldrums!!

Hes not that good, he was highly rated because of his time at Celtic where he looked good against giants like Patrick Thistle and Motherwell. As soon as he was required to play at a higher level either in the Russian League or Internationally for Ireland, he hasn’t done anything. Average player for an average team.
