AIDEN MCGEADY HAS been unveiled as Everton’s latest signing today, after a statement released by Spartak Moscow confirmed his departure.

The player has completed a medical at Goodison Park this morning and appeared ahead of their game with Norwich.

The Ireland international has been heavily linked with Roberto Martinez’s side and reportedly joins them on a four-and-a-half year deal.

The move means McGeady will likely be one of five players competing for a first-team spot with the Toffees — with James McCarthy, Darron Gibson, Seamus Coleman and Shane Duffy — who is currently on loan at Championship side Yeovil — also part of their squad.
