IT’S NOT BEEN the best of seasons for Aiden McGeady and Everton, and tonight looks like being no exception.
Already trailing West Ham 1-0 in their FA Cup replay at Upton Park, a rash challenge from McGeady put his side in further trouble.
The winger received a second booking for the ill-advised tackle, and was consequently forced to leave the field.
Perhaps luckily for McGeady though, Kevin Mirallas then equalised, before Romelu Lukaku put the Toffees ahead in extra-time and Carlton Cole brought the teams level once more in extra-time.

Despite a promising start to this season, it’s largely been a disappointing spell at the club for the Irish international, with the ex-Celtic winger often struggling to get in the first team.
Twitter, unsurprisingly, was also unimpressed with the 27-year-old.
Mcgeady is a poor player, noble made a meal of that though getting him a second yellow.
