WHEN MARY-KATE Slattery realised that her anorexia was a “build-up of unhappiness” in herself, she was able to land the first blows in her battle with the illness.

Since discovering a love of boxing, the law student has not looked back and aims, one day, to be the first Irish pro boxer and barrister.

This is her story.

FLYEfit will soon unveil their brand new flagship gym at The Vaults, CHQ. Located in the heart of the IFSC, it includes free weights, racks, Olympic lifting and much more in a unique setting from just €29 per month.
