THIS WEEK, WE brought you news that Brooklyn Beckham was hoping to follow in his old man’s footsteps.

The 14-year-old was at Chelsea’s Cobham facility for a trial having played in LA Galaxy’s youth academy during Beckham’s spell in the MLS.

If Brooklyn was to make it as a professional footballer, he would join a small group who overcame the enormous pressure of living in their father’s shadow to make a name for themselves at the top level.
