Tipperary U21 hurler John McGrath hits brilliant point while on his knees

Last year’s All-Ireland minor winner struck a superb point for the Tipperary U21′s last night.

TIPPERARY’S ATTACK WAS on fire last night in the Bord Gáis Energy Munster U21 semi-final against Cork as they hit 5-19 in Semple Stadium.

But there was one point for the home fans to really remember.

It arrived courtesy of substitute John McGrath, a brother of county senior Noel, in the second-half.

He may have lost his footing when in possession but that didn’t stop the Loughmore-Castleiney player firing the ball over the bar while on his knees.

Shades of Brian Corcoran’s memorable point for the Cork seniors in 2004.
