BOHEMIANS AND AARON Callaghan have parted company this evening.
The 46-year-old, who took the reigns in December 2011, has been sacked by the Airtricity League club, who sit a point from the bottom of the table after a winless league run stretching back to April.
The decision was taken following a board meeting and, in a statement released tonight, Bohemian president Matt Devaney said: “The club has reached this stage with much regret. Aaron has made a great contribution to all facets of Bohemians in his 18 months with us.
“But following a run of disappointing results it was clear some change was needed. We are looking for an injection of new ideas and new urgency.”
Assistant Owen Heary has been named as caretaker manager.
