MOTHERWELL HAVE FAILED in their bid to contest the two-match ban retrospectively handed out to Darren Randolph, following an incident in the club’s match with Hearts.
During the game, the Ireland international allegedly kicked Hearts’ Callum Paterson, while claiming a high ball, and was subsequently punished by the Scottish Football Association for his action.
Motherwell consequently confirmed today that their appeal of the decision had been unsuccessful, tweeting:
“Darren Randolph’s two-match ban has been upheld and he will now miss games against Aberdeen and Ross County.”
