Poll: Who should play 12 for Ireland on Sunday?

Gordon D’Arcy and Keith Earls both received a ‘guarded prognosis’ over their fitness.

IRELAND TEAM MANAGER Mick Kearney revealed this afternoon that both Gordon D’Arcy and Keith Earls were the team’s biggest fitness worries ahead of Sunday’s match against England.

The loss of D’Arcy [dead leg] and Earls [shoulder] would be hefty blows for an Ireland team that defeated Wales in breathtaking fashion at the weekend.

England will be hoping to pair bruising centres Manu Tuilagi and Brad Barritt against the Irish with try-scoring debutant Billy Twelvetrees in reserve.

The finger dislocation for Ulster’s Luke Marshall denies him of a warranted call-up but there are plenty of other options, including shifting Brian O’Driscoll inside and bringing in Darren Cave.

If both D’Arcy and Earls are to miss out on the pivotal match this Sunday, who would you select at outside centre?

Poll Results:

James Downey (524)
Fergus McFadden (523)
O'Driscoll/Cave (468)
Dave McSharry (193)
Luke Fitzgerald (153)
