The42 Members will automatically be entered in the hat for our monthly prize draw.

โ€“ Congratulations to our prize winner, Lonan McDowell. Enjoy the game on Sunday!

WHEN TWO TRIBES go to warโ€ฆ trying to get a ticket is Mission: Impossible.

This yearโ€™s All-Ireland football final pairing could hardly have been scripted better: Dublin, chasing a historic five-in-a-row, up against their dearest rivals and the team with more incentive than anyone else to stop them, Kerry.

Sky blue and navy versus green and gold โ€” the countdown to 1 September is on.

And so weโ€™re delighted to announce that our September prize draw, exclusive to The42 Members, will send one lucky winner to Croke Park on All-Ireland final day.

Along with a pair of tickets to the latest unmissable chapter in the Dublin v Kerry rivalry, the winner will also be treated to an overnight stay for two that night in the four-star Brooks Hotel in Dublin, with a meal in the Jasmine bar, and a full Irish breakfast the following morning.

If you have already joined up as a member, you donโ€™t need to do anything. Youโ€™ll be automatically entered into this draw and weโ€™ll contact the winner with the good news on Thursday, 29 August.

If you havenโ€™t joined up as a member yet, donโ€™t worry, thereโ€™s still time โ€” join up before noon on 29 August and weโ€™ll make sure your name is in the hat too.

For more info on The42 Membership and all of the great benefits you get, click here, or visit members.the42.ie to sign up.

โ€“ Congratulations to Robbie Dunne who won our August Members draw for two tickets to the All-Ireland senior hurling final along with a stay in Brooks Hotel.

@Kevin McSavage: not small from a limerick point of view. Kilkenny didnโ€™t travel. Limerick always bring the crowd

@Peter: not true Peter. We have had more down than most through the years but always brought the crowds

@Go way ba willu: kilkenny threw that game away hitting really uncharacteristic wides and then reverting to lumping high ball into a 2 man full forward line. On the basis of today cork have absolutely nothing to fear limerick will do their usual rabbit in the headlights impression once they see croke park

@domas1507: you could argue limerick nearly threw it away missing so many goal chances. Anyway, should be a cracker. Both teams play a great style of hurling. May the best team win and please God let that be limerick

@domas1507: but thatโ€™s always been Kilkenny game plan, long ball to henry or fennelly etc, nothing changed there. Except today it was stopped a bit more that usual, targeted Limerick back line but limited success due to good defending and their forward line being poor at times, think Cork have more sense than yourself tbh, they wonโ€™t fear Limerick and vice versa, but theyโ€™ll be aware of what they can potentially do! Ignorant to just basically write Limerick off

Strange to see all Leinster teams eliminated by early July, that hasnโ€™t happened for a long time.

I have fancied Limerick to reach the final since the start of the season. Now Iโ€™m not so sure. Kilkennys were knackered after the two Galway matches. Otherwise they would have beaten Limerick right back to the Shannon???
