TENNIS STAR Caroline Wozniacki is releasing her own line of underwear this fall, she announced on her website today.
Wozniacki partnered up with JBS — a Danish underwear brand — and her collection starting in September 2012.
The tagline: “This Is Me.”
Here’s what the line will consist of (via her website):
The microfibre line consists of low hipsters, g-string, bra and top in solid colors. The cotton line consists of hipsters, low hipsters, bra and top in both solid colors and different patterns. Every year two new collections of the Caroline Wozniacki Underwear will be introduced.
Wozniacki has never won a Grand Slam tournament.
But at age 21 she’s one of the sports biggest stars off the court. She’s dating Rory McIlroy, and has endorsement deals with Adidas, Yonex, Proactiv, and Sony.
Serena Williams famously branched out and started her own clothing line when she was at the peak of her powers. But we’ve never heard of a superstar athlete starting an exclusively underwear collection.
