The high school running back who's 6'4" and 400 pounds

This takes ‘the big guy’ to a whole new level.

REMEMBER THE BIG guy when you first started playing sport? The beast whose athletic gifts allowed him to dominate games with regularity. Well, high school running back Tony Picard is taking that to new levels over in America.

He was originally picked as an offensive lineman before coaches realised that his massive frame (6’4″ and 400pounds officially) meant the White Swan High School senior would be better utilised on the ball. That has certainly been the case with Picard averaging five yards per carry this season.

White Swan coach Andrew Bush told the Indian Country Media Network, ” “Most teams will sacrifice five guys to stop him: four linemen and a middle linebacker. That leaves three guys on each side to stop the rest of our team.”
