– Paul Dollery reports from the Aviva Stadium
IRELAND MANAGER MARTIN O’Neill has named his side for tonight’s 2018 World Cup play-off second leg against Denmark at the Aviva Stadium.
O’Neill has made just one change from Saturday’s first leg at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, which ended in a goalless draw.
Having been suspended for that game, David Meyler returns to midfield and regains the captain’s armband from Ciaran Clark, with Callum O’Dowda making way.
Denmark manager Age Hareide has made two adjustments to his line-up. Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen comes into the defence at the expense of Peter Ankersen, while Yussuf Poulsen replaces Andreas Cornelius in attack.
IRELAND: Randolph; Christie, Clark, Duffy, Ward; Meyler (c), Arter; Brady, Hendrick, McClean; Murphy.
DENMARK: Schmeichel; Christensen, Kjaer, Bjelland, Stryger Larsen; Kvist, Delaney, Eriksen; Poulsen, Jorgensen, Sisto.
