KILKENNY HAVE BROKEN a long-held tradition with the release of their new jersey ahead of the 2018 season.
The new piece of kit from O’Neills sports the usual iconic black and amber stripes, however now boasts a black strip across the neck which cuts the pattern off from its usual attire.

The side crashed out of the All-Ireland senior hurling championship in the second round qualifiers at the hands of beaten finalists Waterford this year.
It was the first time the county failed to reach the quarter finals or semi-finals since the championship opened its back door two decades ago.
Kilkenny also failed to record a single All-Star in 2017, as Brian Cody’s side begin a rebuilding process which will dawn a new strip for the first time in three years.

Dublin were very wasteful with possession today and 1st half sweeper tactics were all wrong. As usual Kilkenny were very physical and took their points. Bit disappointed with Dublin really, thought they would bring a lot more composure to the table today. Kilkenny are back at the top table of hurling that’s for sure, but there is reason to believe they’re not entirely imperious as they once were. Not a classic by any means, but fair play to the Cats they got the job done.
I’ve commented on the wrong match here haha! I hope some of the same analysis applies. Sunday brain freeze – shocking scenes lads.
