O’CONNOR PARK IN Tullamore will witness a historic occasion this evening.
The last ever EirGrid All-Ireland U21 football final is due to take place with the grade set to change to an U20 format next year.
Galway and Dublin are bidding for the right to be crowned champions after emerging from their semi-final ties against Kerry and Donegal respectively.
The counties have plenty recent success at this level as they carved up the five All-Ireland titles from 2010 to 2014 between them.
Dublin won in 2010, 2012 and 2014, while Galway claimed glory in 2011 and 2013. It’s the first final meeting between the counties since 2002 when Galway saw off Dublin by 0-15 to 0-7.
But what do you think the outcome will be in today’s game that throws in at 5pm?
