IT’S BEEN SIX years since Cavan have fielded a senior level inter-county hurling team.
Their long absence ends on Saturday however, as they return to competitive action in the Lory Meagher Cup.

Since their disbandment in the middle of the 2011 season, Cavan have been the only county without a senior inter-county hurling side. They were granted permission to return to the championship’s fourth-tier towards the end of last year.
The Breffni county host Division 3B finalists Warwickshire this weekend, and will also face Leitrim, Sligo, Lancashire and Fermanagh in the competition.
They did not compete in this year’s league.

Juventus ain’t no PSG. World class centre backs and plus they will have learnt from PSG’s mistakes
@Liverpool HQ: sure didn’t they say it was impossible last time
@Liverpool HQ: Boufon deserves that champions league
Hope juve see it through. Still though would be interesting to see Barcelona in the final without a second leg at the nou camp to save them
Barcelona will go through tomorrow. What is it about the Camp Nou and mid week Champions league games. Has a magic sense to it. Love it. Come on Barca.
We all know Chiellini is only talking about one shark in the barca team.
Can’t wait for the Oscar awards at full time
Only team scoring 5 here is juve,
The more desperate Barca will become as the match progresses the more space they will leave open in what is terrible defence.
Expect to see juve sit back for 60 mins , substitute on a bit of pace and finish them off
No way barca will do it again juve have are in the top 3 for defences in europe IMO
And with the referee you will probably score 6
