ULSTER DEFEATED EDINBURGH by 42 points to 20 at Murrayfield this evening, with an impressive performance.
Having endured an early setback in the form of Nick De Luca’s score, the visitors responded with tries from Rory Best and Dan Tuohy.
Having led 19-13 at half time, Andrew Trimble’s try after the break added to Ulster’s lead, before Alun Walker touched down to keep Edinburgh in the game.
However, a try from Darren Cave effectively ended the game as a contest, ensuring the visitors were rewarded with a bonus point in the process.
The win takes Ulster to fifth spot in the RaboDirect Pro12, while Edinburgh languish in ninth position.
