FORMER KERRY FOOTBALLER Paul Galvin has been linked with a move from Kilmacud Crokes to St Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh for the 2017 season.
The 2009 Footballer of the Year, and four-time All-Ireland winner, played a handful of games last season for Crokes but has reportedly requested a switch to the Navan Road side, and the home club of the Brogan brothers.
Both the Irish Independent and Irish Examiner say the Dublin County Board are expected to rubberstamp the move when they reconvene in January.
The 37-year-old, who retired from inter-county duty in 2015, moved from his home club of Lixnaw to Crokes last year but a switch to Dublin rivals St Oliver Plunkett could see him play both football and hurling in 2017.
His arrival at Plunketts would be a major coup for the club who have been beaten finalists in the Dublin Senior Football Championship three times since 2008.
