IRELAND MANAGER MARTIN OโNeill will have been very pleased after seeing the teamsheet at White Hart Lane today.
Irish number one Darren Randolph makes his first Premier League start of the season for West Ham against Tottenham this evening.
Itโs just the seventh time in total that the Bray native has featured in a Premier League match, having found first-team football hard to come by and being largely restricted to appearances in cup competitions, since joining the Hammers prior to the 2015-16 campaign.
Speaking ahead of the match today, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic told BT Sport that regular number one goalkeeper Adrian was not injured and that Randolph โdeservedโ his chance in the first team.
Despite not starting much for the Hammers, Randolph has been in excellent form for Ireland in recent months, impressing in last Saturdayโs 1-0 win over Austria.
