“I accept responsibility for what is going on here. Does it mean I’m going to resign? No it doesn’t. Does it mean it’s all broken? No it doesn’t.”
Andrew was quoted as suggesting the England players were “more focused on money than rugby” during the World Cup.
And speaking today, he revealed the seriousness with which he views the leaks:
“I am absolutely shattered by what is going on both on and off the field.
“The RFU has to sort itself out, this is rock bottom, the lowest of the low, and it can’t be allowed to continue.”
A number of senior figures, including Martin Johnson and Lewis Moody, were heavily criticised in the leaked documents, which suggested there was serious disillusioment within the England camp during the World Cup.

THE RFU’S ELITE rugby director, Rob Andrew, has vowed not to resign despite the controversial comments he made in leaked document relating to England’s Rugby World Cup failure.
