GAA FANS ATTENDING next Sunday’s Leinster semi-finals in Croke Park will be able to view the second-half of the Euro 2016 second round game between Ireland and France.
The GAA last night announced that the Kildare-Westmeath and Dublin-Meath games would be deferred to 4.15pm and 6.30pm respectively to avoid a clash with the last 16 fixture in Lyon.
And this evening the GAA have confirmed that stiles will open at 2.45pm with the big screen at Croke Park set to broadcast the second-half of the Ireland game.
It will mark the first time that a soccer match will be televised in Croke Park on the day of a GAA game.
The second-half action is likely to start in Lyon around 3pm. GAA chiefs will be hoping that the decision will entice fans to the Leinster semi-finals.
