IT’S BEEN A tough time for Andy Keogh in recent months.
Late last year, he was embroiled in a major controversy when it was revealed Perth Glory had breached the A-League’s salary cap in their dealings with the Dubliner.
After a short-lived stint in Thailand, Keogh returned to Perth as the club attempted to re-sign him.
After plenty of red tape, he was finally back in a Glory jersey in January and has recently come into a decent spell of form.
On Sunday, he grabbed the opening goal as his side beat the Newcastle Jets 2-0 to force their way into the play-off picture.
The victory moves them into 6th place with the top six teams qualifying for the play-offs.
Keogh has now managed four goals in his last four games and five in his last six.
