TWO-TIME ALLSTAR winner Brendan Bugler will make his 2016 hurling league bow for Clare tomorrow night against Laois.
Bugler has been battling back from injury and he is named at right half-back on the Clare team as the Banner make four changes from the side that defeated Wexford last time out.
The Whitegate man comes in to the team along with goalkeeper Andrew Fahey and the corner-forward pairing of Aaron Cunningham and Bobby Duggan.
Patrick Kelly, Jack Browne, Aaron Shanagher and Conor McGrath are the players to make way.
Meanwhile Limerick – who are joint top of the Division 1B table with Clare – have brought in two members of their 2015 All-Ireland U21 winning side for their game with Offaly on Sunday.
There’s a first league start for Barry O’Connell as he is named at midfield while Tom Morrissey, who came on as a sub last time out against Kerry, returns to the starting line-up.
Darragh O’Donovan and Graeme Mulcahy are the players to make way.
