PADRAIG HARRINGTON SITS seven shots off the lead after the second round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am but the news was not so good for his fellow Irish golfers.
Harrington’s one-under par round of 71 followed Thursday’s 68 and was good enough for a share of 28th place, a long way off leaders Sung Kang and Hiroshi Iwata (-11).
Korean Kang shot a 60 on Friday to come from nowhere into a share of the lead but both he and Iwata will be keeping a close eye Phil Mickelson (-10) a four-time winner at this event.
The news was not so good for Shane Lowry and Paul Dunne (both E) who look set to miss the weekend with the cut mark likely to fall at -1.
