RANGERS’ ANDY HALLIDAY was sent off tonight after the referee took exception to his celebration of a goal.
Halliday, who had already been booked, was shown a second yellow card after team-mate Barrie McKay scored in the 2-0 win against Morton.
Before play resumed, Halliday looked towards the home fans and punched the air in celebration.
Referee Barry Cook deemed the behaviour to be unsportsmanlike and gave Halliday his marching orders.
