Dana White discusses McGregor's next move if he beats Aldo

Frankie Edgar looks to be a likely opponent, but a Urijah Faber fight is unlikely.

CONOR MCGREGOR IS the talk of the UFC world right now, and the organisation’s president Dana White always seems to end up talking about him one way or another.

UFC 194 on 12 December is already heavily anticipated, and the long wait for the McGregor-Aldo headline fight has certainly contributed to that.

After defeating American Chad Mendes to become UFC Interim Featherweight Champion in July, onlookers are already wondering what McGregor will do if he can overcome the stern challenge that is José Aldo.

Rumours of a Croke Park title defence next summer have been whispered if he can defeat the Brazilian in 10 weeks’ time, and White has hinted at the possibility that McGregor wants to take on former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar at some stage.

Edgar beat Urijah Faber in May at UFC Fight Night 66 via unanimous decision in a much-anticipated bout, and he is now booked to take on Chad Mendes on 11 December at The Ultimate Fighter 22 finale.

When asked whether the Irishman would ever fight Faber, White responded with a quick “I doubt it” which would seem to quash speculation that the respective TUF captains will ever face off.

Is it just me or does anyone else dislike the idea of using a headbutt? Always seems a bit knackery to me

He has proved time and time again that he has serious temper issues and has over inflated opinions of himself, but when it comes to actually doing it himself, as a manager, he can’t do it. Brilliant footballer but essentially a gobdaw

Now that’s what I call a proper Football Bio anecdote. Granted there is a bit if the old ultra violence thrown in which may not be to everyone’s taste. But like with most things with Keane, it ain’t dull.
