120kg Adam Jones teaches you how to tackle someone through a sheet of glass

Getting tackled by Adam Jones does not look fun.

ADAM JONES ISN’T going to the World Cup, and that makes us sad.

The Welsh legend retired from international rugby in January after being dropped by Warren Gatland, finishing his Welsh career with 95 caps, a further five test appearances for the Lions bringing up his hundred.

After moving from Cardiff Blues to Harlequins at the end of the season, the 34-year-old has been kicking his heels over the summer, so he joined up with fellow Welshman Lee Dainton, he of MTV’s Dirty Sanchez fame.

The pair teamed up to demonstrate “scientifically” – and we use that term loosely – the physical impact of being hit by a 120kg prop.

While the science is pretty sketchy, the slow motion replays are pretty sensational.

There’s also the added bonus of seeing Jones finally get that shampoo deal he’s been holding out for.

Fairytale stuff. I wonder what the NFL minimum wage is? Probably not 8.65 an hour.

$435,000, I don’t think the contracts are guaranteed though.

There can be guarantees, but on an entry level contract I doubt it.

He is more likely a camp body. From the sounds of Bryan Broadus from the Dallas cowboys they are hoping to keep him as a practice squad player at minimum. You are right that he will be making quite a bit more either way.
