Here are the 23 Wales players seeking to end Ireland's World Cup bid

Uncapped 17-year-old Ethan Ampadu, whose father Kwame represented Ireland at U21 level, features in the squad.

THERE ARE TWO new names in the Wales squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Ireland next month.

Sheffield United winger David Brooks has been included for the first time, as has Preston goalkeeper Chris Maxwell.

Jazz Richards and James Collins are the only absentees through injury in an otherwise strong 23-man squad.

Uncapped 17-year-old Ethan Ampadu, whose father Kwame represented Ireland at U21 level, features again.

Chelsea defender Ampadu was also included for the recent games against Austria and Moldova, but has yet to get any game time for the national side.

Wales squad to face Georgia and Ireland:

Goalkeepers: Wayne Hennessey, Danny Ward, Chris Maxwell;

Defenders:Ben Davies, James Chester, Neil Taylor, Chris Gunter, Tom Lockyer, Ashley Williams, Ethan Ampadu;

Midfielders: Joe Allen, David Edwards, Andy King, Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey, Jonathan Williams, David Brooks.

Attackers: Gareth Bale, Marley Watkins, Hal Robson-Kanu, Sam Vokes, Tom Lawrence, Ben Woodburn.
