AND HE’S BACK on our TV screens.
Michael Lyster has returned to The Sunday Game hotseat today for the Connacht and Ulster football finals after a major health scare last month.
The 61 year-old Galway man has been presenting RTÉ’s flagship GAA show since 1984 but Darragh Maloney has been filling in for him in recent weeks.
Lyster collapsed after a major cardiac arrest at his home earlier this month with his wife Anne saving his life by administering CPR.
It’s brilliant to see him having recovered and back refereeing Pat Spillane, Colm O’Rourke and Ciaran Whelan this afternoon.
