JOHN TERRY’S GOAL againts Leicester last night means he is now the joint-highest-scoring defender in Premier League history.
Terry’s record is especially impressive given that unlike former Everton player, David Unsworth, who also managed 38 goals, he is not a regular penalty-taker.
Meanwhile, Leighton Baines, William Gallas, Julian Dicks and former Ireland international Ian Harte also feature on the list.
37-year-old Harte could conceivably add to his tally next season, as he is on the verge of promotion back to the Premier League with Bournemouth.
