RUGBY LEAGUE CAN be a brutal sport at times, much like union, and Luke Page took the opportunity to remind us of exactly that over the weekend.
Playing for the Mouth Pritchard Mounties in a NSW Cup clash with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, Page produced some sickening collisions with his powerful running game.
The Sea Eagles’ Dylan Kelly [number 12] came off particularly badly after attempting to halt Page in full flight.
The Mounties prop uses his forearm almost like the bullbar on a car and it will be interesting to watch him if and when he steps up to NRL level with the Canberra Raiders, to whom he is contracted.
