Seamus and Aidan O'Shea in action against Tyrone: will either Mayo man be named an Allstar this year? INPHO/Cathal Noonan

Poll: Who should be in the 2013 Allstar football midfield?

Six men — but only two places. Which footballers should make the cut in this year’s Allstar midfield?

FOOTBALLER OF THE Year favourite Michael Darragh Macauley is one of six midfield nominees for the GAA/GPA Football Allstars.

Macauley was one of 12 Dublin players to get the nod in this year’s nominations and the only midfielder of the six to have previously won an Allstar.

He is joined by brothers Aidan and Seamus O’Shea from Mayo while Kerry’s Anthony Maher and Darren Hughes of Monaghan will also be in contention when the announcement is made on Friday evening.

Galway’s Paul Hughes, the only man of the six not to win a provincial title this season, completes the list.

But who do you think should win an award? Let us know.
