IT WAS A day of high emotion at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght as the All-Ireland Schools finals were decided.
Ard Scoil Rathangan grabbed the headlines as they staged a remarkable comeback to claim the U19A title. The Kildare school were trailing St Eunan’s by 28 points in the third quarter but rallied to overhaul the deficit to win 70-67.

In the U19C final, Colaiste Pobail Setanta defeated Lagan College Belfast, sparking scenes of unconfined joy at the final buzzer.
Meanwhile, in the Girl’s U19A Final, it was an all Cork affair with Christ King coming out on top as they defeated St. Vincent’s 65-46.
