After a sluggish first round, where do TV commentators think he's from?

The Holywood man is back in the clubhouse with a one over par 71. So where does that leave him?

RORY MCILROY’S BID to claim a second Major on the bounce got off to a pretty sluggish start at Sandwich today.

The 22-year-old hit a one-over 71 in the first round at Royal St George’s – putting him six shots off clubhouse leader Thomas Bjorn.

But where does that leave him with TV pundits who seem to – like with Andy Murray at Wimbledon – pull him a little closer, the better he’s playing?

    Lads I think it’s a bit of “the pot calling the kettle black” were as guilty as the Brits for claiming sports people who aren’t ours, Rory is from the north like Alex Higgins and George best to name but a few,
