KILKENNY TALISMAN Henry Shefflin looks set to miss the start of this summer’s championship action.
The Ballyhale Shamrocks man has suffered a stress fracture of the foot and is facing up to six weeks’ recovery, according to the club.
Shefflin is thought to have picked up the knock in training this week.
The Cats face Offaly on 7 June at Nowlan Park. If they come through that test they’ll have a Leinster SHC semi-final three weeks later.
