THERE’S U21 FOOTBALL silverware up for grabs tonight while the Division 1 league semi-finals take centre stage next Sunday afternoon.
Cavan and Cork both bid to complete a four-in-a-row of provincial crowns tonight in the Athletic Grounds and Páirc Uí Rinn respectively.
Then on Sunday, the senior footballers of Dublin, Cork, Mayo and Derry will be bidding to reach this year’s Division 1 league final.
There’s also minor hurling action this week in Munster and Leinster, a key promotion-relegation game in the Allianz hurling league, and the showpiece schools football finals in Croke Park on Sunday.
