IN JUST OVER 48 hours, Porto and SC Braga will duke it out in Dublin for the right to be crowned “Europa League Champions 2011.”
Preparations for Wednesday night’s historic occasion have been ongoing for months and now, with just two days to go before the game, everything is just about ready.
The ground formerly known as the Aviva Stadium will be rechristened as the Dublin Arena for the evening in order to comply with UEFA’s commercial arrangements – but to you and me, it’ll still always be plain old Lansdowne Road.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the minor cosmetic changes which have been made to the Dublin 4 venue in recent weeks.
