THE IRISH RUGBY management team have today confirmed that Dan Tuohy suffered a fracture to his right arm in Saturday’s Six Nations win over Wales.
Tuohy sustained the injury after coming on for Paul O’Connell during the 26-3 victory over the Welsh at the Aviva Stadium.
Tuohy’s comeback date has yet to be confirmed, but he conceded defeat in a battle to be fit before the end of the Six Nations this afternoon.
The Ulster second row tweeted “there’s a game in eight weeks” as he hopes to return to action in time for the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Saracens at Ravenhill on April 5.
Joe Schmidt’s side suffered no other major injury problems as they gear up for their trip to Twickenham to face England on Saturday February 22nd.
