POOR FREDDIE BURNS did not have the best of times for the England Saxons this evening.
The fly-half’s kicking was poor all evening, yet his performance will surely be remembered for his role in the last play of the game.
With Ireland leading 14-8, the hosts needed a converted try to win the game.
And in the dying seconds, a promising attack ultimately came to nothing, as Burns somehow let the ball slip from his hands as he dove over in an attempt to score.
