THE IRFU HAS launched ticket and travel incentives in a bid to fill the Women’s Six Nations match at the Aviva Stadium.
Ireland’s Grand Slam champions take on Italy on 8 March as part of a historic double-header between the countries.
Kick off is at 5pm, 40 minutes after the men meet in the penultimate round of the championship.
The IRFU confirmed today that tickets for the men’s fixture will also be valid for the women’s game while standalone tickets, priced at €10 for adults and €5 for children, go on sale on 20 January.
Clubs who currently field a women’s team will be able to apply for a travel grant of up to €400 to offset the cost of coach hire.
Ireland’s women kick off their title defence against the England Saxons at Kingsholm on Saturday 25 January.
